Bush vetoes stem-cell bill, disappoints advocates

Reuters – President George W. Bush vetoed
legislation on Wednesday that would expand federally funded
embryonic stem cell research, triggering an uphill battle to
override him in the Democratic-led U.S. Congress and likely
pushing the issue onto the 2008 election agenda.

I’m really tired of hearing that scientific reasearch is constantly being put down by these Catholic extremists.
This last example is but an attempt by Bush to show the Pope how close he is to the church, following his recent meeting with His Holiness himself.
