Dave, I bought an Omega Speedmaster Chrono ($80.10 at Baden Baden PX) for timing darkroom processing when they put me into S2 and in charge of the battalion's photo needs. After that I couldn't live without a watch, it's just a habit.












Now I know what happened to my old watches. My own Swiss Army watch bit the dust, I liked it because it was so light. The one I wear now is current Army issue with tritium markers and it;s very accurate and light weight too, a gift from my son-in-law.
